This Place

This.Place understands the importance of self-care and knows how difficult it can be to incorporate it into our daily routines. They had just wrapped up their branding when they asked Verbal+Visual to help realize their first online presence. Built on Shopify, the art direction used soft hues and ample white space to evoke the feeling of relaxation one might find at a medical spa. I lead design and built out numerous, flexible page templates and provided an in-depth digital brand guide. Upon launch, sales skyrocketed to the point that This.Place was able to leave it’s parent company and exist as a wholly independent company. Main takeaway — designing in German is wild. The words are crazy long!
